Prenatal Visits (Before the Baby Arrives)

If you would like to schedule a prenatal visit with one of our physicians, please call our office at 303.779.5437. During this visit, you will have the chance to get to know your new pediatrician and to ask questions about your baby and how our office works. There is no charge for this visit.

When Your Baby Arrives!

Your pediatrician will check in on you and your baby each day you’re in the hospital to answer any questions and to discuss how the baby is doing. After you return home, you may schedule an office visit (typically two or three days later) to check on the baby’s progress.

Remember, we are only a phone call away for prompt answers and advice! 303.779.5437

About Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is a learned but natural art. It’s also a smart choice physically, emotionally, and economically. Most women have little difficulty breastfeeding but may still appreciate the support and encouragement of a lactation consultant, especially during the first several weeks.

In some situations, challenges arise that may benefit from the skill and attention of a specially trained lactation and breastfeeding professional. That’s where we can help. Having completed extensive academic and clinical requirements, Stacey Levin successfully undertook a comprehensive lactation examination and received the International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) credential--a designation that indicates a level of competence similar to independent certification in other specialty fields. Perhaps more important, she breastfed her own two children--and wouldn’t trade that experience for anything.

Along with lots of encouragement, understanding, and good humor, often the right information and instruction is all that’s needed to prevent or address any breastfeeding concerns. We look forward to answering your questions and to meeting your and your baby’s needs.
