Vera Becka, M.D. was born and raised in Germany where she earned her medical degree from Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel. She moved to Colorado and completed her pediatric residency at the Children's Hospital Colorado in 2009.  After practicing in Thornton for 11 years, she and her family spent four years on the island of Guam to support the underserved community and enjoy life in the tropics.  In 2025 she moved back to beautiful Colorado and joined 5280 Pediatrics.  Dr. Becka is married with three children and three cats and enjoys traveling, hiking, and being outdoors.
